Hi Sudha,

My mother herself thought that I considered her to be my enemy when I was growing up, whereas in reality it was far from the truth. The fact is that all daughters feel like their mothers are stifling their freedom at some or the other point in their lives. But that's not to say, that they don't recognize in their hearts that their mothers are doing it for their very own good. It's only that they are in that phase of life where they think they know best and would never admit otherwise.

But trust me, when a daughter grows up to be a mother herself, she cannot but admit and acknowledge her folly and appreciate the fact that her mother knew and did her best. Hence please don't feel pulled down. Keep smiling. This too shall pass!

Thanks for dropping by. Look forward to hearing from you yet again.

Cheers,
Divya

Thanks for your kind words, Sir.

I'm impressed with Visakhapatnam myself, though I don't really belong to this city and am here only for a short while. Am away from Vizag right now. Will certainly get in touch with you once I'm back.

Look forward to hearing from you more often. Keep writing in!

Cheers,
Divya

Wonderful thoughts.  I wish my daughter too feels like you some time in her life, because right now, she is at a stage when I am almost her enemy, not giving her the 'real' freedom and interfering in all her affairs.  I feel very very sad to be let down and taken for granted.  Sometimes I get thoughts of suicide because you cannot take such a treatment from the part of your own body and soul, whom you doted upon for 25 years.  I wish to see the day she feels that way, because otherwise, I may have to die with an unsatisfied soul.
